Chiesa Valdese Rome: Chopin & Italian Friends Concert

Listen to piano compositions and hear Italian arrangements

Interior of a church with wooden pews, high ceiling, and wall murals depicting a cross and religious symbols at the front.

About this experience

Attend piano concerts dedicated to Fryderyk Chopin, Poland's renowned composer. Hear his famous pieces, including Impromptu Fantaisie, Preludes, and Scherzo No. 2. Although Chopin visited Genoa just once, Italian music influenced him through the Italians in Warsaw. Besides Chopin's works, listen to Italian compositions arranged for solo piano by composers like G. Verdi, P. Mascagni, and G. Puccini. The Waldensian Church in Rome hosts these concerts, providing excellent acoustics in an architecturally significant venue. This is a special chance to hear a piano concert in a church setting.
