Visit the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, a leading feature of 18th-century neoclassical architecture. Start your guided tour with an exterior presentation of the building before entering the vestibule. Then visit the grand staircase and the auditorium. Designed by architect Victor Louis and inaugurated in 1780, it was built on the site of the ancient Roman temple known as the Pillars of Tutelle.
