Learn how the Louvre evolved from a medieval fortress into one of the world's most visited museums before exploring some of its best-known works. See the *Venus de Milo*, *the Winged Victory of Samothrace*, and masterpieces by Raphael, Delacroix, and Jacques-Louis David. You'll also visit the *Mona Lisa*, where your guide will explain the history and significance of the painting. With a certified local guide dedicated to your group, you'll have the freedom to ask questions, spend more time at the artworks that interest you, and move at a pace that suits you.
