Formula 1 — Qatar Grand Prix

MAKE IT YOUR KIND OF DAY

Which view is right for you?

At Lusail, reserved seating and free seating are different products. Start there, then choose your corner.

Main GrandstandReserved seat, grid and pit garages

On the main straight opposite the garages. Choose it for the start and pit activity, with a fixed seat to return to.

North GrandstandPit exit and the run towards Turn 1

Beside Main Grandstand, looking along the straight towards the first corner. Free seating: your chosen arrival position affects the angle.

T2 GrandstandThe transition through Turn 2

Inside Turn 2. Our choice for following the corner transition; views towards Turns 1 or 3 vary with your position. Free seating.

T3 GrandstandThe approach and exit of Turn 3

A Turn 3 perspective following the approach from Turn 2. Compare with T2 for which part of the sequence you want to watch. Free seating.

T16 GrandstandFinal corner and acceleration

Follow the exit of Turn 16 onto the main straight. Choose it for the final-corner line; it is not the same view as the starting grid. Free seating.

Lusail HillAn open viewing area by Turn 1

A viewing hill at the end of Turn 1. Choose it for flexibility; there is no reserved grandstand seat and your position determines your view.

Only Main Grandstand has numbered seats. North, T2, T3 and T16 have free seating within the selected grandstand; this does not mean standing admission.

How we put this guide together

Venue facts checked on 29 September 2026. The view preferences are our editorial suggestions, not a guarantee for an individual seat. Available tickets are listed above.

Qatar: speed, strategy and the closing rounds

Qatar comes immediately before the Abu Dhabi finale. Our reason to go: watch how a late-season race changes the pressure on the championship leaders, then follow the same battle into the final round.

Lusail rewards watching more than the leader: compare the cars’ pace through its flowing corners and keep an eye on the gaps before pit stops. The tables below give you the championship context before choosing your seats.

Choosing your view

The main grandstand looks onto the start/finish straight and pit lane. T2 focuses on the opening corners. Choose between the start and pit-stop story or the changes of position through the first turns; the exact view depends on the selected section.

These are dated standings, not a live timing feed. The championship position can change before race weekend.
